For optimal corrosion protection, the cabinets of the new ET Nice Access Range have been upgraded. The base metals are now zinc-plated, and the metals are then sealed with a tough powder coating. This double weather resistant shield now provides long-lasting protection of the steel casing and its electronic insides.

ET Nice Access barriers are high-volume traffic performers. They can open and close up to 3 000 times per day, no sweat. No wonder they are successfully used in high-traffic spots like the Huguenot N1 Toll Plaza in the Western Cape.

Speed Counts

Swift operation is important in professional access control. The barriers in the Access range open and close safely and quickly. The fastest model in the range, Access AC HS, can swing up or down 90 degrees in just 1,2 seconds!

No power? No problem!

ET Nice keeps everything running smoothly, even during a power failure. True battery back-up of our ACDC models means the battery takes over when the electricity is down. The Difference: Our proven ACDC technology means the barrier continues working on mains power even when the battery is removed. Other makes of barriers stop working when the battery fails.

The booms adapt to the environment

How’s this for flexibility? Depending on road width, overhead height, type of traffic or other factors, you can attach the most suitable boom pole type to the Access high-volume barrier operator*. For example, if the guard house has a low roof overhang over the driveway, you would typically use the 180-degree jack knife pole on the Access ACDC L.

ET Nice Access is simply the most versatile range of barriers, thanks to the choice of interchangeable poles:

  • Fixed length poles (3m and 4 m)
  • Telescopic poles (4 m to 6 m)
  • Fence poles (3 m to 5 m – on customer order)
  • Jack knife poles (3,1 m in closed position and < 2.2 m in open position)

Easy to install, set up and maintain

Clear instructions, including cabling requirements, are provided. Access to the electronics housed in the robust cabinet is easy. Setting up is straightforward, using a clear LCD interface and a standard ET-Blu Mix® transmitter. Using the same interface, diagnostics can be performed effortlessly. ET Nice access barriers are easy to install, easy to fault find and easy to repair. Spares are readily available and affordable. This saves money, time and hassle.

Uncrackable remote control

Every Access barrier receiver is powered by ET-Blu Mix® technology. This industry leading security uses ET Nice’s unique unhackable/uncrackable double encrypted rolling code that is paired with the industry’s most robust transmitter, the ET-Blu Mix®, now with a lifetime warranty.

User control

The multichannel receiver inside the rugged cabinet can learn and store up to 1 023 users, allowing them to use their ET Nice multi-button remote control to raise or lower the boom (or perform any combination of system inputs).

For added security, control and convenience, ACCENTRONI can be included. This will allow for an industry first: online transmitter management including the ability to restrict certain users at certain times and to manage and monitor transmitters remotely.
